Iawphniaw Daishisha

Daishisha completed her undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Meghalaya in 2022 and earned her master’s degree in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar in 2025. Her research paper titled “Multi-hazard Susceptibility Mapping in Himachal Pradesh Using GIS and Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis” received the Best Paper Award at the ASCE International Conference on Challenges and Innovations for Sustainable Smart Cities: Applications of Remote Sensing, GIS, Drones, and Digital Mapping, held from February 7–9, 2025. Her research interest lies in addressing environment-related issues through the application of geospatial information integrated with modeling.
