Joint PhD Program – Information Session

Interested students are invited to attend an information session to learn more about the UQ–IITD joint PhD program.
The session will provide attendees with information about the PhD program, scholarships and how to apply. Current students will share their experiences and presenters will be on hand to answer any questions.

About the joint PhD program:
Study at two world-leading, research-intensive institutions, The University of Queensland (UQ) and the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD) on a multidisciplinary project.
The UQ-IITD Research Academy is seeking applications from exceptional candidates for projects commencing in January 2025.
Multiple PhD positions are available for outstanding students to work on a wide range of projects along side with world-leading experts in science, technology, engineering, healthcare, humanities, and social sciences.
By participating in the program you will gain:
- access to world-class facilities and resources and exposure to global research ecosystem, network and environment.
- global expertise via dual supervision between UQ and IITD as well as possible industry.
- a generous scholarship and additional project development award support.
- upon successful completion of the program, you will be awarded a joint Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from both UQ and IITD.
