Vijay Rahane pursued his Master of Science in Organic Chemistry from the Savitribai Phule Pune University Pune, India. During his master’s degree, he was also involved in research work in the CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory Pune, India. Prior to joining the UQ-IIT Delhi Academy of Research, Vijay worked at Aurigene Pharmaceuticals in Dr Reddy’s laboratory in Bangalore.
His research interests include the development of novel synthetic methodologies for synthesis of functional organic materials.
The project aims to apply new materials design theory and advanced synthetic approaches to create new materials classes for next-generation see-through electronics with exciting applications like augmented reality, car windscreen display and head mounted goggles for biomedical/surgical applications.
